Thomas Sunebeck - Rental Coordinator

thomas

Thomas Sunebeck, our Rental Coordinator in Queensland, has been with us for over 9 invaluable years. Fortunately for us, Thomas was able to take a few minutes from his busy schedule to sit down and tell us a little bit about himself and his experience.

Tell us a bit about your background in the materials handling industry.

Before I immigrated to Australia in 2003, I was working in Sweden in the construction and material handling industries as a Technical Sales Representative for camera systems and central greasing systems since 1995.

How long have you been here with us at Adaptalift Hyster?

I started with Adaptalift in August, 2003.

What is the most challenging part of your job?

The most challenging part of the job is to find and co-ordinate the best possible material handling solution for our customers under certain time constraints.

What makes Hyster Forklifts stand out from the competition?

They have a very good reputation in the industry and are known for their reliability and outstanding rated capacity.

Do you have a favourite model? If so, why?

They are all very good but if I had to choose, it would probably be the FT-series. The design is very appealing and it has a strong build with great capacity.

What is the most important piece of advice you would give someone who is looking into materials handling equipment?

Consult an experienced material handling expert from Hyster to get the best advice on the biggest range available in the industry. You can’t go wrong!

What innovations and advancements in the industry are you most excited about?

It is always exciting to read about solutions that will increase efficiency and decrease the impact on the environment. Alternative fuels, more efficient engines and less overall maintenance is beneficial for us and our customers.

Where do you see the industry 10 years from now?

Driven by the Industry and our customers, I think we’ll see even more and more manufacturers developing environmentally friendly and hi-tech solutions, along with a continued focus on safety and reliability.

If you could sum up Hyster in one word, what would it be?

Respect.
