AAL Cyclers hit the road for a good cause

The Adapt-A-Lift cycling team took part in two of Australia’s most popular cycling events.

On 12th October, the Queensland team peddled the exhausting 100km Brisbane to the Gold Coast Cycle Challenge. Peddling alongside 7,000 other riders, the team made their way along the South East Busway to raise money for both the Heart Foundation and Diabetes Australia.

While in Melbourne a week later on 19th October, our team of 30 riders joined over 16,250 cyclists to take up the punishing 210km Around the Bay in a Day challenge round Melbourne’s Port Phillip Bay raising money for The Smith Family.

The both teams were yet again sponsored by AAL and Combilift Australia, and from all accounts enjoyed the two fantastic days of cycling.

Well done to all team members!
