Position Purpose & Summary
• To perform field service Forklift repairs and maintenance as required
• Perform duties in compliance with all procedures as outlined within the Service Procedure Manual (PR99PW07)
• Maintain a level of competency to perform all aspects of field and workshop service
Primary Responsibilities
Occupational Health & Safety
• Ensure work area is kept neat and tidy at all times
• Ensure allocated service van is kept neat and tidy at all times
• Ensure safe work practices are followed at all times
• Comply with site induction and safety policies
Repairs & Maintenance
• Diagnose forklift problems and either repair or advise if further parts/subcontracting work are required
• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance to forklifts on customer sites as allocated by the companies field service coordinators
• Ensure the servicing of allocated equipment is kept up to date
• Record all damage work to service controller prior to commencing work and obtain a customer order to proceed with work
• Respond to Service coordinators requests and assignment of Jobs in a prompt manner
• Report to the Service Co-ordinator via PDA when
• Accurately record all times and parts used on Jobs
o Commencing an assigned task
o An assigned task is completed
o Arriving onto a new site
o Finishing for the day
• Advise service Coordinator when assigned task is taking longer than anticipated
• Manage the acquisition of parts for jobs via the state parts interpreter
• Complete after hours call outs when assigned on the roster
• Maintain company performance KPI’S
• Assist in aspects of the service department where requested buy the field service Manager
Other
• Uphold the company’s professional image at all times
• Maintain the company vehicle in line with company policy
• Complete other tasks as requested by the Workshop Supervisor or the Field Service Manager
• Attend company training sessions
• Attend all company safety meetings
• Promote safety in the workplace at all times
• Carry out periodic stock takes of vans, in conjunction with the Parts staff

Area Sales Manager - Forklifts

Position Purpose & Summary
• Sell new, rental and used forklift trucks within the allocated territory.
• Target customers being 1 – 5 truck users.
• Strive to exceed sales budget in S A territory by managing existing clients and sourcing new business in providing Material handling solutions
Primary Responsibilities
Sales Targets
• Achieve a minimum order intake per month to ensure sales and gross profit targets are met.
• Minimum KPI requirements of 7 orders per month.
• KPI model mix target per month as set by the Sales Director
Territory Management
• Effectively manage a defined territory including identifying new sales opportunities whilst managing and existing owner base.
• Work to a dedicated plan to maximise selling time and potential.
• Daily territory /time management plans need to be implemented with clear objectives of what needs to be achieved that day.
• Utilise the Company’s CRM database to manage your customers and territory.
Product Demonstrations
• Effectively execute a minimum number of product demonstrations per month in accordance with the set KPI’s. All demonstrations are to be carried out in a professional manner with minimum expense to the company
• Minimum KPI requirements of 3 demonstrations per week, per salesperson
• All customer enquiries are to be followed up in a timely and professional manner
• Effectively execute a minimum KPI of 18 face to face contact calls with customers per week
• At regular intervals you will be required to attend team functions and product training sessions. You may also be asked to assist and support fellow colleagues with enquires and demonstrations.
• Ensure all perspective customers receive prompt professional service when responding to an enquiry, present a proposal/solution and finalising the transaction upon delivery
• Continually seek opportunities to further your education as they present themselves
Secondary Functions & Responsibilities
• Adhere to all company policies including vehicle OH&S, dress codes and develop a broad knowledge of the industry and opposition activities

Imports Product Specialist

Position Purpose & SummaryThe prime focus of this role is on the Combilift, Aisle-Master and Agria products, in addition to key Adapt-A-Lift customers.
Primary Responsibilities
Sales
• Achieve sales budgets as set by the Victorian State Manager
• Visit current Combilift, Aisle-Master and Agria customers on a scheduled basis
• Deliver customer reports on a scheduled basis
• Establish, build and maintain relationships with current and prospective Combilift, Aisle-Master and Agria clients
• Document any customer complaints, issues and equipment requirements and coordinate resolution of the same
• Assist with customer enquiries in relation to sales and long term rentals of Combilift, Aisle-Master and Agria
• Attend deliveries of Combilift, Aisle-Master and Agria equipment to sites and provide equipment familiarisation training and acceptance sign off
• Promote and ensure Combilift, Aisle-Master and Agria customers are utilising AAL casual rental facilities
• Promote and ensure Combilift, Aisle-Master and Agria customers are utilising AAL’s training, licensing and refresher courses
• Promote and ensure Combilift, Aisle-Master and Agria customers are utilising AAL’s battery maintenance facilities
• Inspect Combilift, Aisle-Master and Agria units by site and report on condition and servicing standards
• Provide Combilift, Aisle-Master and Agria customers with quotations on “value added items” – Speedshield, battery maintenance, training, etc.
• Provide customers with quotations for additional Combilift, Aisle-Master and Agria equipment
• Provide Sales Reps with information for additional equipment
• Assist with collection of accounts and clarification of disputes
• Assist with site assessments and valuations of used equipment
• Assist with Combilift, Aisle-Master and Agria demonstrations as required
• Maintain Combilift, Aisle-Master and Agria site equipment schedules
• Update database on potential customers, including current supplier details
• Identify the opportunity for Combilift, Aisle-Master and Agria equipment upgrades and contract extensions
• Assist the Imports National Sales Manager in the delivery of quotes, demonstrations and site appraisals
• Generate monthly report, including outstanding and completed actions
• Promote the sales of parts and service for the Combilift and Aisle-Master products
• Maintain major AAL accounts as nominated by the State Manager

• Complete other tasks as requested by the State Manager
